Fire Protection

Fire Detection

Fire Alarm systems are the first line of defense to warn building occupants of an impending fire emergency. Through an intricate grouping of smoke sensors and water flow sensing devices, the fire alarm system is a key piece of hardware to protect your employees and your property. We have NICET certified designers, installers, service technicians, and inspectors to care for and maintain these systems. We work on a large number of manufacturers’ equipment, and are distributors for some of the top names in the industry.

Fire Suppression

Sprinkler Systems

Sprinkler systems protect life and property by slowing the progress of fire until the fire department is able to arrive. A well maintained sprinkler system is essential to the protection of occupants in buildings of every size, shape and occupancy class. Federal Fire performs maintenance and inspections on all types of Automatic Sprinkler Systems. Our certified technicians have the training and knowledge necessary to maintain and inspect your system and to ensure that it performs as originally designed in the event of an emergency.

Clean Agent

Clean agent systems are preferred when mission critical equipment protection is required and water would damage the equipment as much as or more than fire. (CAT Scan/MRI Rooms, server rooms etc.). In addition, clean agent systems can be designed to detect fire at a much earlier stage than typical sprinkler systems. We can provide design, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services on many manufacturers’ equipment.

Kitchen Suppression

Kitchen suppression systems usually utilize a wet chemical to suppress and blanket a fire made up of fats and grease. These systems are some of the most underserved systems in the industry. Unfortunately, it is common for a system to be engineered incorrectly or not kept serviceable through a legitimate maintenance and inspection program. Our factory trained technicians can inspect, service, or design a new system to protect your investment.

Dry Chemical Systems

Paint booths and other similar hazards require a unique dry chemical protection media to adequately suppress fires that may occur. We have certifications with leading manufacturers to design and inspect systems that protect these hazards to ensure you and your business are adequately protected.Â
